Turn the volume DOWN, as it's just background noise from the fans & AC (although you can probably make out Smurfette commenting on the 'severe weather').
The short video clip here was taken from my little Kodak EasyShare Camera, so it's nowhere near as cool looking as it was looking out the window of my apartment... The clouds would light up and flash like there was a party going on out there. No rain or thunder though, just flashes of light in the clouds! The camera only seemed to pick up on the actual flashes of lightning.
All the serious stuff was a couple counties south of us, and the curious thing about the weather where I am is that the clouds were all to the South & East of me, but to the North & West? Clear as can be! I could see the stars shining brightly...
I ended up heading outside to sit on the hill and watch the display for a few minutes. It was beautiful, and I remember why I like watching thunderstorms. -Now, as long as my power stays on, I'll be happy!
