It's Been A While...Again...

So, it appears that I have been neglecting this little corner of the Internet again... I don't do it on purpose you know... It just happens with me, things come up, I get sidetracked, and forget to come back for a while...

But now I'm back! -For how long, I can't say... My interest might wane, "Real Life" might get in the way, or something totally unexpected might pop up... So, what's new? LET'S FIND OUT!

First off, the *BIG* news... It looks like we might be moving in with Brute Bronco! It's been something that's been in the works for a while now, hell; we even looked at places around here a couple years ago! It fell through at the time, but not because of a fall-out or anything... Bronco already had a place of his own, and we all were having a hard time coming up with the 'extra' money it would have required to move into a new apartment (first month's rent, deposits, etc)... Moving into his current apartment will be a temporary situation, to split the bills and rent until the three of us have enough money to find a *LARGER* place; be it another apartment, townhouse, or house... Brute Bronco's been a friend of ours for *years*, and has been a WONDERFUL friend to boot! He's here quite a bit as it is, stopping over in-between his TWO jobs (at Wally World and a pizza cook at Dominos Pizza)... With us there, he'll be able to cut back on the TWO jobs, or at least be able to quit selling plasma twice a week...

Smurfette & I have no concerns about it 'not working out', or that we 'might have a fallout', as I said above, Bronco's over quite a bit as it is, he's SUPER easy to get along with, and he's able to put up with Smurfette better than *I* can!!!! :D

All we're waiting to hear back about is our Beagle... You see, the place Bronco's living at doesn't usually allow dogs, but as he's a "Companion Animal", they're apparently willing to allow us to keep him... We've had to get a doctor's referral (on a document they provided for their 'legal types'), and everything appears to look positive... But, if we are declined, then we WON'T be moving there, but will look elsewhere w/ Bronco... Only time will tell on this front, but as I said, it had sounded positive the last time we spoke, and the last time Bronco was here (a few days ago) he said the same. So, we're just waiting on that (and another thing which I'll mention at a later date) until we put in our 30 day notice here....

Besides that, my job of being a School Bus Driver is going along well! I was transferred back over to the Stillwater terminal, so I no longer have to drive 90 miles a day! The hours are about the same, so... in a way... I'm coming out ahead all-in-all! The kids are actually pretty good (although those Junior High kids I have sure have a mouth on them!) Glad to be back behind the wheel, or I *do* miss helping people buy electronics & such at the "Big Blue Box"... Not everything about the job do I miss of course, but genuinely *helping* the customers that wanted the help finding that *perfect* item for them... I miss the regulars!

My little Buy/Sell/Trade thread on TFW2005 has picked up nicely, and I've actually managed to sell quite a few of the items I was willing to part with! I was having a *hell* of a time there for a while, with buyers backing out due to monetary issues, or balking after they get the shipping quote from the post office... (I mean, really... You want a Leader Class figure sent to Malaysia? YOU SHOULD KNOW IT'S GOING TO BE A FEW BUCKS!!!!) But within the last few weeks everything's turned around for the good, and my Paypal account now has a little bit of money in it! -Thinking of picking up either a custom add-on set for the ROTF Bruticus Maximus to make him look more like his G1-self, or else maybe track me down a Botcon Huffer... I *love* that mold, and have both versions of Armorhide; and I adore the original G1 Huffer... All depends on if I can manage to *Keep* the money in Paypal, and *if* I can find one cheap enough...

Oh, and finally? After speaking to a new online 'friend' I met via my B/S/T thread, I joined a toy customizing community ("), and via *that* (after posting a thread asking for advice on how to dye the G1 Magnus cab I had into the "Kitty Truck" for my mother), I found someone who was willing to paint the figure up PROFESSIONALLY, using primers, automotive quality paints, sealers, and the whole nine yards!!! All I had to do was pay for shipping!!!!! -CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? I didn't at first, but after seeing their work, I figured that it couldn't hurt, and even sent him *my* finished Kitty Truck so he could remove some paint from it, prime it, and send *it* back along with the other one so I can repaint those sections so they don't chip any more!!!! I'm excited about this, especially because the "comissioned" figure is the one that'll be sent to my mother as a gift... After I get it back that is... I sent it out a week & a half ago, but he has yet to receive it!!!! :D I'm excited to see it coming about, and his offer to do it pro-bono just blows me away!!!! I can't wait to see the finished product (even if I'm turning around and sending it down to Tennessee shortly afterwards)!

Well, that's it for now... The next post I'll touch on a few other things, the most exciting being the 10th DAIRYCON PREREGISTRATION AND NEW ACTIVITIES!!!!!!!!! I can't wait!!!! April 9th & 10th!!!!
